Chanel Chung
Chanel has been with Deserving Thyme Lifespa since January 2008. After attending the University of Toronto, she decided that her passion in life was "nurturing" others and making them feel better about themselves. She began her career in aesthetics in Toronto, Ontario in 2005 after graduating from Beauty Exchange. Chanel has had extensive training in London, England and worked for the 6 star luxury cruise line Crystal Cruises Inc. before moving to Vancouver. In 2007, the Condé Nast awarded best 'Spa on Seas' to her spa team on the Crystal Symphony. Chanel's vast experience and knowledge are quickly recognized upon your initial meeting. Chanel looks forward to welcoming you to our spa and to providing an exceptional treatment experience.

Alaina Delouw
From an early age, Alaina has had an avid interest in esthetics. To further pursue this interest, Alaina graduated in 2006 from Advanced Esthetics at PEBEC located in London, Ontario. Since graduation, Alaina has worked in 2 highly regarded spas, where she also discovered her passion for Massage. Alaina cares deeply for her clients and takes the extra steps to make them feel comfortable, Alaina’s warm personality and genuine kindness is easily recognized upon your initial introduction.

Elizabeth Ewing
After pursuing an interest in esthetics, Elizabeth graduated from the Blanche Macdonald Centre in the spring of 2006. Shortly thereafter, Elizabeth joined the opening team of Deserving Thyme Lifespa and has been performing all esthetic services ever since! Elizabeth takes pride in offering service excellence, her effective communication skills and vast experience allows her to effectively educate her clients while working to achieve their esthetic objectives. Elizabeth hopes to meet you soon.

Liudmila Patsatsiya
Liudmila is originally from Russia. Before moving to Vancouver, Liudmila enjoyed working for the Swedish cosmetics Company "Oriflame Cosmetics". In 2006, Liudmila graduated in esthetics from Blanche MacDonald Centre and achieved her Certification from the Cosmetology Industry of British Columbia. In February 2007, Liudmila joined Deserving Thyme Lifespa and with her caring nature, attention to detail and devotion to her craft, Liudmila simply "loves making people feel beautiful". Liudmila welcomes the opportunity to care for your esthetic needs.

Registered Massage Therapists:

Jessica Farrow -RMT
Jessica graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in December 2008 and became registered in March 2009. From the outset of her training, Jessica has found that she really enjoys the puzzle of massage therapy; assessing what is wrong, why it is wrong and how best to correct both the source and the symptoms. Jessica finds it amazing how much emotional stress and tension can wreak havoc on the body. In her treatments she employees a combination of Swedish relaxation, deep tissue, joint mobilization, Myofasial release and trigger point therapy. Jessica strongly believes that to fully address the source of many conditions home care instructions are just as important as the hands on treatment. Furthermore, Jessica enjoys working with other health care professionals in order to fully address conditions and better improve patients’ quality of life.

Although Massage Therapy is successful in treating a multitude of conditions, Jessica has been most successful in treating tension headaches, whiplash, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, upper / lower back pain and plantar fasciitis.

Vu Le -RMT
Vu Graduated from Spa Utopia of Integrated Health in October 2009. Since graduation, Vu has focused his treatments on Hydrotherapy, Sport Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Therapy, NMT Therapy, Swedish Therapy. Vu’s motivation is to improve the quality of a client’s life through massage and believes that life should be a relaxed and enjoyable journey that is lived to its fullest potential.

Julie McMahon -RMT
Julie graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2008 with her Diploma in Massage Therapy. In her treatments, Julie combines relaxation massage with more clinical techniques, to achieve a goal of overall wellness. To ensure that she continually expands her knowledge and techniques, Julie invests in post graduate studies and when not practicing her profession, Julie enjoys spending time with her dog, dancing, developing her skills as an artist and participating in extreme sports including snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing. Julie hopes to meet you in the near future and work towards improving your overall good health.

Eddie Romagnoli -RMT
Eddie is a graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. In his treatments, Eddie combines Swedish, Myofascial, and Spinal Orthopaedic techniques to align the body to ease the physical stress. Therapeutic exercise and patient education is an important focus within his treatments. Eddie wants to improve your quality of life and inform you how to help yourself and correct the issues that are causing your ailments. If your are simply looking to relax and relieve stress, then Eddie is pleased to take care of you and provide you with a “mini vacation” away for your daily stress and obligations. Eddie is always willing to answer any questions you may have and looks forward to working with you in the near future.

Kindred Antonick- Wellness Treatment Provider: Certified in Reflexology
Kindred discovered her passion for holistic bodywork in 1998 while training in Aromatherapy at the original Deserving Thyme Apothecary in downtown Vancouver.

Originally from Nova Scotia, Kindred moved to the west coast after university to work in social justice which lead to a natural move into the wellness sector. Kindred found her talent for providing deep nurturing an effective way to create a profound positive contribution to the well being of her clients, which resonated into the larger community.

Kindred studied and practiced at renowned Salt Spring Centre of Yoga focusing on Aromatherapy, Ayurvedic Massage and Hatha Yoga and at the The Pacific Institute of Reflexology where she became certified in Foot Reflexology. Paired with massage or on it’s own, reflexology offers a wide range of therapeutic benefits- from relief of headaches, neck pain, insomnia to improving digestion and circulation.

Registered Acupuncturists and Tui Na Therapists:

Kelsey Jackson
Kelsey completed the four-year program in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Upon completing the program she spent a year working in a world-class wellness centre located in Whistler, BC. During this year she treated athletes and travelers from all over the world and gained valuable knowledge and experience in treating both sports related issues and general health concerns. She has taken a series of workshops focusing on sports medicine acupuncture, and was a teacher's assistant for the sports medicine class at her college.

Prior to beginning the Chinese Medicine program in Victoria, BC where she was born and raised, she spent many years travelling the world. Taking various massage courses in Australia, Thailand, and the UK, and combining these techniques with Tui Na techniques (Chinese medical massage), she has found her own unique style of massage that is not only very therapeutic for the muscles but will also relax you into a state of bliss! By combining her skills of massage and acupuncture, with diet therapy and lifestyle recommendations, she helps her patients to achieve their ultimate health goals. Her special areas of interest include: musculoskeletal disorders, pain management, stress management, anxiety, and depression. Preventing illness before it starts is the essence of Chinese Medicine, so of course her primary focus is to keep people healthy!

Kelsey moved to Vancouver in February 2008, and is very excited to pursue her love of both outdoor sports and city life. She looks forward to seeing you in the spa.
